Why Model for Us?

Many new permanent makeup artists these days take the bare minimum amount of training for certification. In general, these certification courses are typically a day or two. Booking a model session with a newer artist like this means you’re less likely to get the results you want.

Modeling with us means your work is being done by an apprentice who has done rigorous coursework under the guidance of a master artist. Our students don’t get to tattoo skin until they’ve mastered a series of prerequisite courses, and even then, the instructor is hands on with them, with their models until they are ready to work alone. These courses are one-on-one over a longer period of time, which ensures that their mapping, machinework, and color saturation skills are up to Treja Beauty’s standards. In short, our students don’t get to tattoo independently until they are ready to put out professional, high quality work. Plus, unlike other permanent makeup student workshops, Treja Beauty also includes touch-ups to ensure a beautiful result.

Modeling at Treja Beauty is more than just a deal on some rockin’ new permanent makeup; you’ll be helping our team grow and perfect their techniques. Spend the day in our inclusive, vibrant, woman-owned salon as we pamper you (and likely laugh with you, too–we like to have fun.) Your student will work one on one with you to give you the PMU of your dreams, mapped to perfection to compliment your unique features. No Sharpie brows or overlined lips here!

Ready to give it a try? DM us a photo of your makeup-free face on our Instagram page and we’ll see if you’re a match! You’ll also see specific model calls for our upcoming courses so you can find the PMU service you want most.

You Don’t Actually Want Microblading

Microblading was the go-to permanent makeup solution for thin, sparse, or light eyebrows in the mid to late 2010s. In fact, it was so popular and so ubiquitous that “microblading” is often used as a catch-all term for eyebrow permanent makeup. So, do you really want microblading? Maybe! But let’s explore that, because there are so many other great techniques and services available today.
